Boiled eggs:

  • 8 large eggs
  • 1 cup of water
  • 6 minutes on high pressure (quick release)

Corn on the cob:

  • 2 cups of water
  • Cobs of corn (large end down)
  • 2 minutes on high pressure (quick release)

Cooking rice:

Basmati rice:

  • 2 cups rice
  • 4 cups water
  • 6 minutes on high pressure (quick release, or natural release)

Brown basmati rice

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups rice
  • 15 minutes on high pressure (quick release, or natural release)

Sweet rice:

This rice (pictured below) is similar to sticky rice and works well in Thai dishes. I buy it at No Frills.

  • 2 cups rice
  • 3 cups water
  • Soak for 30 minutes
  • 4 minutes on high pressure (quick release or natural release)
