1 lb. bacon
1 can (16 oz.) water chestnuts (whole & peeled)
Sauce:
3/4 cup ketchup
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Cut bacon strips in half. Wrap half a slice of bacon around a water chestnut and secure with a toothpick. Repeat with the rest of the bacon and water chestnuts.
- Place “wraps” in an ungreased, glass 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes. Remove from oven and drain grease.
- Mix the sauce ingredients in a saucepan and heat until sugar is dissolved. Pour over “wraps”. Return to oven and bake 10 minutes longer. Serve warm.
